Papaya Skin Tempered

Today Chef Jagath Katugampola is introducing his easy vegan side dish recipe for a perfect fulfillment for your special day.
Stir-fried papaya skin is the perfect vegetarian dish to serve when you want an additional vegetable side dish on the menu.
This recipe gives the stir-fried papaya skin its unique flavor and aroma.
Ingredients :
200g carefully skinned papaya skin stripe slices
80g Capsicum Slices
80g Onion Slices
Garlic
Curry Leaves
2 x Table Spoons of Chili Flakes
1 x Table Spoons of Pepper Powder
1 x Table Spoon of Curry Powder
1 x Table Spoons of Cinnamon Powder
3 x Table Spoons of Vegetable Oil
1 x Table Spoon Mustard Seeds
80g of Tomato
1 x Table Spoon of Salt
Salad Leaves
Get a considerably large papaya that is 70% ripened and remove all the dirt from the skin and wash it very well. Remove the papaya skin carefully at a minimum of 3 mm inside of the papaya. Now cut the papaya skin into long slices.
Prepare a water bowl and again wash well all the papaya skin stripes, then place it in a dry bowl. Then add sliced capsicum, sliced onion, garlic, curry leaves, chili flakes, pepper powder, curry powder and cinnamon powder. Now mix all the ingredients together well.
Keep your saucepan on the gas cooker and start at low heat and keep for 20 seconds. Now add vegetable oil and mustard seeds to the saucepan, then stir well for 15 seconds.
Now add the entire mixture and add tomato slices on top of it, then stir the mixture, keeping the heat on medium.
Add salt again, then mix and stir on medium heat until the mixture turns a medium golden color.
Now prepare and decorate your dish with salad leaves and serve the Papaya Skin Tempered recipe to your decorated dish.
